Trulieve Posts Narrower Q2 Loss As Revenue Tops $300 Million -- MarketWatch

Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (TCNNF) on Tuesday beat analyst expectations for second-quarter revenue and adjusted loss, as the cannabis company's sales topped $300 million. Trulieve said its net loss narrowed to $12 million, or 4 cents a share, from a loss of $404 million, or $180 a share, in the year-ago quarter. On an adjusted basis, the company's second-quarter results were breakeven, or 0 cents a share, while analysts expected a loss of 8 cents a share, according to estimates compiled by FactSet. Revenue increased by 8% to $303 million, well ahead of the analyst estimate of $293.7 million. Trulieve's stock is up 66% in 2024, while the AdvisorShares Pure U.S. Cannabis ETF (MSOS) is down 9%.
